Kevin Barr
Attorney

The majority of Kevin's practice is dedicated to representing injured persons or their families in a wide range of matters in state and federal court, including, wrongful death, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and negligence actions.  Kevin has also represented numerous commercial clients including businesses, physicians, local governments, and insurance companies in various legal disputes.  Finally, Kevin also utilizes his past experience as a prosecutor in defending individuals who have been arrested and charged criminally.

Prior to working for Bryant, Higby, and Barr, Chartered, Kevin was an Assistant State Attorney for three years. As an Assistant State Attorney, Kevin successfully prosecuted many serious criminal cases and gained invaluable trial experience. Kevin also worked at the Bay County Courthouse and Burke, Blue, Hutchinson, Walters, and Smith.

Kevin was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He is married and lives in the Cove neighborhood with his wife, Heidi. Kevin participates in many civic, legal and charitable organizations. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, an officer of the Bay County Bar Association, and a member of the St. Andrews Bay American Inn of Court, the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, and serves as the 14th Judicial Circuit's Representative on the Florida Bar's Young Lawyer Division Board of Governors. Kevin is also a Founding Member of the Chautauqua Learn and Serve Charter School.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, boating to Shell Island, golfing, watching college football, and traveling.
